內(nèi)容簡介: 《英美報刊選讀》（第2版）繼承了第一版兩個方面的特點：一是選材豐富多彩，具有時代性，信息量豐富；二是從英語新聞學的角度介紹了閱讀英語報刊的一些基本知識，而不是簡單談論閱讀理解的方法?！队⒚缊罂x讀》（第2版）重新遴選了54篇新聞，按內(nèi)容分成18個單元，每篇新聞的長度在700～900個詞之間。每篇新聞后面都附有兩大類內(nèi)容。第一類幫助學生理解文章，如生詞、重要的專有名詞、內(nèi)容要點和句子翻譯，用中文寫出。第二類屬于“考”學生的，也就是“練習”，練習緊扣選文，從詞語和全文理解兩個方面設(shè)計練習，同時布置一些自主學習的思考題，供學生自己上網(wǎng)搜索和閱讀。此外，還有報刊英語常識介紹。
作者簡介:吳潛龍，男，教授，廣東人，主要研究方向：語言哲學與認知心理學、英語語言（句法與語義）研究、計算機在語言研究中的應用等。主要科研成果：編寫了全新版《大學英語》閱讀教程第2冊、《英語報刊選讀》（以上由上海外語教育出版社出版）、《高級英語閱讀》（由北京外語教學與研究出版社出版）、《英美報刊選讀》（華中科技大學出版社）、《高級商務英語》（人民郵電出版社）等教材，發(fā)表論文多篇。
