作者簡介:GERTRUDE CRAMPTON (1909-1996) graduated from the University of Michigan and became a teacher. Later she edited textbooks and wrote science books for young readers. In the 1940s she also wrote two Little Golden Books that rank among the bestselling picture books of all time:
Scuffy the Tugboat and
Tootle.
